For presenters of the concurrent sessions featured in the program and poster authors, when you submitted your abstract, we asked whether you would like to be considered for one (or more) of the PCSI awards. If you selected “Yes”, information about the awards is as follows:
 
·Best paper: Awarded to the top-scoring full-length paper, as judged by nominated members of the Scientific Committee. Full-length paper means writing up your project that is the subject of your presentation in manuscript format (see below). The Scientific Committee has used the following criteria to assess papers for this award in the past:
·Originality
·Contribution to the field of case mix research/case mix implementation
·Rigor of methods
·Implications for the field of research.
 
Full-length papers to be submitted, as follows:
Date: Monday August 22, 2022 (17:00 Irish Standard Time)
Structure and format: Manuscript format, i.e. including an introduction, methods, results and discussion/conclusion. Up to 10 pages long, single-spaced, inclusive of tables, figures and references.
Submission instructions: Via email to the PCSI secretary (secretary@PCSInternational.org)
 
·Casemix innovation: Awarded to the full-length paper judged to be the most innovative by nominated members of the Scientific Committee. Instructions on full-length paper as per the Best paper award above. The Casemix Innovation award is supported by Casemix Bv and Jacob Hofdijk, emeritus secretary of PCSI.
 
·Best poster: Awarded to the poster judged by nominated members of the Scientific Committee as having the best content and presentation by the author during the conference. (Poster authors are required to give a 5-minute presentation of their poster during the Poster presentation session at the conference).
