The Cultural Blind Spots of the Danish Tribe
Historically and presently the Danes are not as internationally minded as they might think. This is partly due to the homogenous nature of the population, their relative isolation and other cultural and historic circumstances. This has repercussions for how Danes interact with the cultures around them. In many ways the Danes are distinctly different. A greater insight into what these differences are and how they affect communication, collaboration and ultimately business can thus have a hugely positive impact on most organizations. In his talk Dennis Nørmark will present some of the research on the differences that make a difference and what the Danes can do to best mitigate some of the unwanted impression they leave on others.
