Conference format

Since the official construction start of the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link in January 2021, the project has really taken shape and the dimensions of the project are now clearly visible in the water and on the construction site in Rødbyhavn. Many companies are already assigned to the project, but the activities around the project will continue to increase steadily in the coming years, and there are still plenty of tenders and tasks to bid for, for both Danish and foreign companies.

The Fehmarn Link Business Conference 2020 was postponed in March 2020 and later held as a virtual conference in December 2020, as COVID-19 regulations continued to prevent us from gathering. After the 2021 summer holidays, we are expecting to have been vaccinated and it is therefore our hope that we can gather once again for a physical conference with exhibition and network.

About the conference

Fehmarn Link B2B Conference will be held on 9th September 2021 in Rødbyhavn Sports Hall. In addition, 1440 m2 of tent space will be set up in connection with the hall for the exhibition.
The conference will be held in the late morning. VIP speakers from Femern A/S and the two main consortia Femern Link Contractors and Fehmarn Belt Contractors will give a status on the construction process in the Fehmarn Belt project. They will also present any upcoming tenders by the international consortia and guidelines regarding which criteria subcontractors can expect to have to fulfil in order to be able to qualify for these.
Before and after the presentations, there will be plenty of time for mingling and networking in the exhibition area.
The day ends with a visit to the construction site.
Food and drink will be available throughout the day. The participation fee covers the catering expenses.

Registration

Registration is initially prioritised for those who were registered for the original conference in March 2020. Likewise, all stands are reserved for those who had booked stands (personal invitation is sent out by email). If we receive cancellations, the remaining participant seats and stands will be released on the registration site according to the first come, first served principle.

Eventsite and event app

You can sign up and stay updated about the program, practical information and Q&A on the conference event site. As a new feature, you can also download an event app for use during the conference itself. Here, all information is gathered in one place incl. ticket, program, list of participants, list of exhibitors, etc. Afterwards, the conference presentations from the conference and evaluation can be seen in the app. Likewise, the app can be used to make appointments with exhibitors or to contact other participants at a later date. (All registered participants will receive a link to the event app prior to the conference).

PLEASE NOTE: The conference is held in accordance with current recommendations and guidelines in relation to COVID-19. The Danish Vaccination Plan for COVID19 currently shows that all Danes over 16 who wish to be vaccinated, will be vaccinated by the middle of September 2021. The Danish authorities expect that all restrictions regarding COVID19 will be lifted before the conference takes place.  
We reserve the right to require documentation, e.g. in the form of a “corona passport” if this is recommended by the authorities at the time of the conference. We also reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event if it cannot be carried out under applicable restrictions.
