    • 13:15 - 14:00 Fully automatic scoring of pleurisy in slaughtered pigs: first trial under field conditions
The Automatic Detection of Abattoir Lesions (ADAL) system, developed by Farm4Trade in collaboration with UNITE and UNIMORE, utilizes Artificial Intelligence to automate the scoring of lesions in slaughtered pigs, revolutionizing traditional animal health and welfare monitoring. ADAL's use of a robotic arm, camera, and convolutional neural networks allows for the efficient and meticulous analysis of carcasses. The system promises consistency, vast data generation for statistical analysis, and valuable insights for herd health management and disease prevention. This innovation holds transformative potential for efficient and sustainable livestock management.
