Keynote: Hydrogen and CCUS for long term energy security and decarbonization
Both new and retrofitted gas infrastructure will provide the needed energy and food security, as well as decarbonization for Europe. Hydrogen and hydrogen carriers in all shades of blue and green will most likely live side-by-side and merge in complete value chains, also offshore. Will all types of CO2 be used and allowed for efuels, or mainly sequestrated? Based on synergies and retrofitting of oil and gas infrastructure, the transition may be more cost efficient. Magnus will present the DNV 2022 Energy Transition Outlook, a forecast with a focus on hydrogen production and trade, offshore PtX and CCUS.
