    • 13:30 - 14:10 The Secret of Safety: Strengthening the Resilience Potentials
The ethos of safety has traditionally been to reduce unwanted and harmful events, or even better completely to eliminate them and have zero accidents. Even though it makes sense to try to stop things from going wrong, there is a growing realisation that it is not enough. In addition, we need to understand the reasons that most things go well so that we are able to support and strengthen the positive at all levels. To do so we must look behind individual actions to the potentials that provide the basis for resilient performance.
