PhD, MScN, RN, Ass. Professor, Clinic for Neuro-, Head and Orthopaedic Diseases & Clinical Nursing Research Unit, Aalborg University Hospital. Health, Aarhus University.

I have been a registered nurse for 28 years, have a Master of Science of Nursing from 2007, and finished my PhD in January 2012. For the past 7½ years, I have worked with nursing research at Aarhus University Hospital and Aalborg University Hospital. My area of research is nursing in short-term care contacts. My focus has been on opportunities and challenges that time-limited patient pathways provide in a hospital context and the importance of tailoring nursing care to the individual patient’s needs and expectations.
