Matouš Jelínek
PhD Student, University of Southern DenmarkMatouš Jelínek is a PhD student in Human-Robot Interaction at the University of Southern Denmark and a member of the Human-robot Interaction Lab in Sønderborg. Matouš has a master's degree in Web-communication Design from the University of Southern Denmark and one in Communication for Development from Malmö University. He also holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and media studies at the Masaryk University in Brno. Before starting his academic career, Matouš worked for various international media and IT companies. In his Ph.D. project on trust regulation in HRI, which is carried out in collaboration with Aalborg University, he aims to fill the gap between theoretical findings and practical implications by creating and verifying trust-regulating interactions. Specifically, in scenarios of behavior change coaching and collaborative work, he develops adaptive trust adjusting strategies and evaluates the effects of the operators' trust on the collaborative task outcomes.
