Martin ElliotHead of Strategic Planning, Leeds City Council
Martin Elliot is Head of Strategic Planning for Leeds City Council, the second largest planning authority in the country. He has helped Leeds get an Adopted Local Plan complete with Site Allocations for over 50,000 homes and 15 Neighbourhood Plans (with over 30 more in progress). He is currently progressing a Local Plan Update for climate change and working closely with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority on devolution for West Yorkshire. He has over 20 years experience in planning in both public and private practice.
