Dr Steph Wray is a biodiversity consultant with over 25 years’ experience in advising organisations and governments on biodiversity policy, and assessing the impacts of development and land use change. Steph is the founder of Nature Positive, which helps businesses to understand how they both rely on and impact the natural world, and to develop strategies to leave a positive legacy. She is also a Director of RSK Wilding, which helps organisations to offset their carbon, biodiversity and other natural capital impacts through rewilding. Steph is a past President of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and heads the Institute’s Strategic Policy Panel, which sets policy for the industry and advises government. She regularly authors papers and speaks at conferences on topics relating to biodiversity policy and practice, environmental net gain, and rewilding.
