As Corporate Director of one of the leading authorities for sustainable development and economic growth, Jason has overseen a proactive and significant shift in residential and commercial delivery, taking Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) to 7th in the UK for non-urban housing delivery and with a target of 43,000 new homes over the next 20 years.
At CBC, Jason leads the Regeneration and Business Directorate, developing an integrated approach to investment, development, regeneration, employment, skills and social benefit, unlocking over £3bn of investment in four years for the area.
Having previously held a range of Director-level positions at Regional Development Agency, County and Unitary bodies, Jason is one of the prominent strategic growth enablers shaping approaches to deliver residential, commercial, economic and strategic infrastructure sustainably. In addition to his primary role, he is Chairman of UK Business Council for Sustainable Development (UKBCSD) which focuses on the implementation of sustainable development practice nationally and is a principal figure behind the development of the Oxford-Cambridge Arc.Speaker for following sessions
