• Angela Fell

    Founder, RIPEN

Angela Fell is co-founder of Northern Heart and Soul, a Community Interest Company based in Wigan with a vision of rekindling the functions of neighbourhoods.  She works too as a Senior Associate for Nurture Development and is one of the founders of the growing Neighbourhood Democracy Movement.
After working within the system testing out the ideas of Hilary Cottam in the town in which she lives, Angela noticed the limitations of change from within. Wanting to pay more attention to community animating Angela took the bold decision to step out of the system and into community space where she lives.  She, and friends are walking towards a vision of creating conditions for a self-organising and renovating neighbourhood in the home space.

Keynote Speak by Dina von Heimburg
