    AUTHXRS is a publishing and media house born from the realisation that first hand testimonies of current situations of injustice, oppression, and conflict are lacking. The voices of people in these difficult situations are, for the most part, ignored in political, social, and economic circumstances. We believe that listening to the real protagonists will empower them to speak out and to be part of decision making which affects them; storytelling is necessary to make a real impact and change some of the existing systems.

    We want to create a space of conversation and to engage people of all backgrounds in an open discourse. We will reach out to minorities who have been historically excluded from the publishing industry and from being part of mainstream literature. We will establish a media presence so people can share their unedited stories on social media, by publishing books and short stories, and by creating podcasts to showcase the transparency of our process. This platform is open to and accessible to all.

    By providing a platform where these stories can be shared we want to initiate a momentum of change in the publishing industry - one in which education and sharing knowledge is central instead of focusing on profit. AUTHXRS strives towards positive change; trying to comprehend the experience of the protagonists is essential in the construction of more egalitarian societies in the future.
