    Speaker for following sessions
    • 09:45 - 30-11-2021 Ms. Margrethe Vestager will address the priorities of the European Commission relating to the digitalisation of the economy and industry, R&D investments in digital technologies and the potential of digital technologies in addressing our time’s societal challenges.
13:15 - 30-11-2021 The digital transformation has picked up tremendous speed during the global pandemic and we have seen an uptick in attacks on individuals, enterprises, organisations and even countries from state actors and organised criminal cyber networks. In most cases financial profit was the driver behind the attacks in others the motives were theft of intellectual property, subversion and undermining of societies.

In this session, two of the world’s most knowing professionals will engage in conversation on some of the trends and perspectives on the global scene. We shall hear about recent cases from various critical sectors, and we shall discuss what to expect. IoT and Supply Chains are among the areas to look upon; other keywords are Financial, Regulation, and Privacy, taking us from the technological to a somewhat broader view on the cyber security and safety State of the Tech world.

09:00 - 30-11-2021 Welcome to the Summit! With great ambitions we set the stage with a round of brief opening statements from partners and co-organizers. We paint the big picture of a strong Digital Denmark, building upon our natural strengths, an active member and part of the European Union, active on global markets. You aint’ seein’ nuttin’ yet.
    • 09:00 - 01-12-2021 The Pioneer Centres represents the ambition to attract the very best individual researchers from around the world that carry out basic research aimed at transformative solutions to major societal challenges, the first of which is the AI Pioneer Centre. World-class AI Researcher and AI Entrepreneur himself Serge Belongie has taken upon himself to head the AI Pioneer Centre, to challenge and to change the ways Denmark creates value from AI. Serge Belongie will share with us his personal view on where to go, what to expect, and how to not only survive, but benefit from and enjoy the journey.
16:15 - 01-12-2021 Two days are getting to an end – tomorrow is another work day, with lots to do, battles to win, and big ideas to grasp. Before closing down a panel of stake-holders, partners and experts dig into a conversation on the framework conditions that are needed to transition all the fancy ideas and fine intentions into real-world results. Asking for more money, political awareness, and higher education from anyone with a breath seems to be trivial as well as insufficient. Instead, we shall discuss how (our) digital technologies become the drivers of societal improvements through common visions, partnerships and projects. To that end, to bring Denmark, the Nordic countries, and Europe in the direction of digital sustainability.

We finish making a round of promises before getting back to work, leading towards Digital Tech Summit 2022.
