    • 14:00 - 15:15 Professional Applications of Augmented Reality
      Organized by The Alexandra Institute

Augmented Reality presents new exiting possibilities for human-computer interaction by enabling the addition of virtual objects into real environments to facilitate real-time interaction. And technologies for both mobile AR and head-mounted displays are being developed and supported by tech companies such as Apple, Microsoft, and Google. Still, few real-life applications are implemented and integrated in work practices and industry. In this session we will take a closer look at Augmented Reality in an industrial setting and how research and technologies can be applied in real world setting. We present the current available AR technologies and potential use-cases. We will look at areas in which the technology is already creating value and then dive into two examples from real life, where Danish companies use the technologies.
