• Marta González García

    Associate Manager, Novo Nordisk

Bio:  Marta is currently a Team Leader of one of the Advance Process Modelling & Optimisation teams within core API manufacturing at Novo Nordisk A/S. Marta obtained her BSc and MSc within Chemical Engineering, the latter from the Technical University of Denmark, specialising in Process Systems Engineering applied to separation of Complex Mixtures.     Title of presentation:  Industrial Maturation of Digital Twins & Future Perspectives on what’s next?   Abstract of presentation:  In API Manufacturing at Novo Nordisk, we have within the past 3 years been working on developing a landscape of Digital Twins. What we refer to as, inspired by Siemens, the 5Ps: Product, Process, Production, Performance, Projection. In this short presentation we will present how we have matured the application of Digital Twins (concept to application) within projects and process optimisation. Plus, highlight what current gaps and what’s next beyond Digital Twins.

30-11-2 - Organized by DTU in collaboration with Danish Life Science Cluster
Biomanufacturing is one of the most important sectors in Denmark. It is still an open question how Industry 4.0, AI, exploitation of big data and use of digital twins can contribute to increased operational efficiency of biomanufacturing. This session provides different points of views from end-users, technology developers and academia, and ends with a brief panel discussion.
