    Bio: 

    Gert Læssøe Mikkelsen is head of Security Lab at the Alexandra Institute, where he has participated in a long list of both Danish and international research projects in the field of cybersecurity. He also participates in the different commercial cybersecurity projects the Alexandra Institute is involved in.

    Security by Design – why is it not happening  

    Abstract of presentation: 

    This talk contains an overview of Security by Design (SbD), what it is, why it is important, and why some companies struggle to get SbD implemented when developing software. The talk is based on two research projects with a focus on improving cybersecurity in products and services e.g., IoT products and digital products/services in general.
