    Bio: Francesco Iannuzzo is currently a professor at Aalborg University, Denmark, where he is also part of CORPE (Center of Reliable Power Electronics). His research interests are in the field of reliability of power devices, condition monitoring, failure modeling, and testing up to MW-scale modules under extreme conditions. Title of presentation: Reliability challenges and prospects in modern components for e-mobility Abstract of presentation: Active components like semiconductor power devices are one of the key components in modern drives for electrical vehicles.The talk will discuss the technical challenges of the reliability of such devices.

The automotive industry will transform from a mainly mechanically driven industry towards an electrically driven industry with an opportunity of having new players in that field.
