Digital technologies for the interaction between public sector authorities and citizens are mostly designed with an individual, self-serving user in mind. But what does the reality for the user actually look like, and what means do they take in use to successfully go about their business with the state. In going beyond the self-serving citizen as a design persona, the session brings nuances to what is actually needed for technologies to be socially inclusive. Companies will be interested in evidence presented for why digital inclusion is the next big thing.
