For last 20 year the chip design flow has been for very few to high tools cost and closed access to chip technologies. 2 year ago Google released the first open source chip technology from a US fab and this has fostered a new generation for chip designers that work with open source tools and methodologies - has new skills within programming and computers and are used to share in an accelerated tech development environment. I build tools, flow and teams, connect people from industry, university and government - to accelerate this transformation.
