Teal Medicals mission is to streamline access to health data for researchers and companies by helping them overcome the legal and technical barriers that shield health data from innovation. That is why we have developed the Teal Engine. The Teal Engine is an export tool for medical images (e.g. x-ray, MR, and CT) that remove Personally Identifiable Information (PII) on the fly. Our customers use the Teal Engine to quickly transfer millions of de-identified images in hospital IT systems to their own research infrastructure. For example, the Teal Engine can reduce the time it takes to export 70.000 x-ray images from seven months of manual labor to one day.
