AM Summit
September 7th at TAP1 in Copenhagen
A 3D print conference which challenges how a product is designed, developed and produced. With the theme 'Additive Impact', Danish AM Hub is hosting Scandinavia's largest conference for Additive Manufacturing (AM) / industrial 3D printing September 7th at TAP1 in Copenhagen.
This year’s focus is on new technology such as 3D printing as a means for a more sustainable and competitive production thus developing stronger and circular business models and supply chains.
Among other things, we will hear about 3D bioprinting, Danish production of 3D printed sustainable insoles, and how 3D printing is revolutionizing the healthcare sector with 3D printed skulls and jaws, a new type of 3D printed cast and 3D printed prostheses. You can also meet four Danish experts from Grundfos, Damvig, J. Krebs & Co. and FORCE, who in a panel session will give their take on how to utilize the opportunities and potential of the technology. We will also hear from Boeing and former minister for environment, climate, and energy Connie Hedegaard, what the future of production will bring and how Denmark can become the greenest manufacturing country in the world.
And finally, there will be entertainment by music from a Guns N' Roses cover band playing an electric guitar developed and 3D printed from recycled sawdust, walk around in a 3D printed tiny house or have a 3D printed figure after a visit in the full body scanner.
During the day, there will be six breakout sessions, where we focus on sustainable materials, gender diversity in Danish production, take a closer look at the rapid development within construction with AM technology as well as in the health sector, and finally how the technology is changing and challenging various industries in relation to design, innovation, and production.
In addition to the exciting program, you can also visit the large AM exhibition with more than 40 Danish companies ready to share their take on the AM technology's development, trends, and tendencies, as well as exchange knowledge and experience.
