Climate Neutrality Conference 2017
Climate change is having an increasingly strong impact on the Earth and our future on it. By 2050, the majority of the world's population will live in cities, which will result in far more global greenhouse gas emissions than ever before. In the German/Danish region, we take this challenge as an opportunity to act and cope with a changing surrounding.
Both Denmark and Germany focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, which requires planning — not only on a city level, but also an industrial level. New areas of investment are appearing, and industry is undergoing a major transformation. To highlight the necessary changes, this years climate neutrality conference will focus on new developments and strategies.
We aim to bring decision makers, researchers and industry representatives together to identify future ways of reaching 100% climate neutrality. Attendees are invited to enter a dialogue about the best solutions for reaching their climate goals on city, regional and national levels.
