    • 15:00 - 15:20 WHY BEHAVIOURAL DESIGN IS KEY TO THE GREEN TRANSITION
Carbon, circularity, and climate are rightfully gaining increasing prominence in the design and planning of our cities and communities. However, the material and environmental aspects of sustainability are not enough alone to ensure true resilience.  At GXN we are working with behavioural design, drawing on environmental psychology, futurology, and post-occupancy evaluations, to join the dots between a healthy planet and human well-being. By taking the long-term view and a genuinely holistic approach to sustainability, this talk will illustrate through case studies why and how our industry can create places for people that stand the test of time.
