30th anniversary of the single market – challenges and opportunities
During the past 30 years, the European single market has contributed with prosperity and progress. However, the free movement also entails challenges – both for companies and for workers at European, national and local level. Some challenges are best solved at European level – some nationally. Some challenges call for better rules, some for better enforcement of existing rules. The morning brief aims to discuss potential ways to make the single market fair for companies and workers.
